Timi Siytangco, Bite Communications
Since content is the key to an effective digital strategy, and a good conversation is important to keep the consumer community engaged, that is why Bite Communications has appointed Timi Siytangco as its director, Digital Strategies ? a newly created role. In this role Siytangco will be responsible for Bite Singapore?s and Bite Australia?s digital capabilities that will help clients achieve business-driven outcome.
This new role is part of Bite?s talent strategy of bolstering its digital team and bringing digital point of view in all its marketing communication services. Talking about this, Roger Marshall, managing director, Asia-South of Bite Communications said, ?Timi is a great strategic and tactical addition to the Bite team at a time when we?re focused on constantly bringing new digital talent and new digital perspectives into our services portfolio. With her extensive experience and success, Timi brings a wealth of expertise to the organization and we look forward to working with her to ensure continued digital growth for our operations.?
Siytangco will focus on providing strategic client counsel to deliver insight-based, integrated communications campaigns that offer a true ROI to the clients. ?In the last few years, I?ve seen content become a central driver in the success of digital programs. Bite?s proven Point of View methodology that links communities, content and conversations, along with the agency?s integrated approach to communications and on-going investment in key capabilities like search, social technologies, and technical development, made the move a no-brainer for me,? she added. Siytangco has about 15 years of experience in digital marketing, online media and Internet start-ups. Prior to joining Bite, Siytangco served as head of practice, Digital Strategy at Possible Worldwide, where she was responsible for managing strategy, customer acquisition campaigns, and integrated marketing programs for clients including Dow Corning and Starwood Hotels Asia-Pacific.
Accoring to Marshall the current trend in marketing s to provide integrated communications across the B2B and B2C sectors through a carefully orchestrated mix of compelling, channel-neutral content. Bite is now building its team to ?develop digital and offline strategies delivered by people who understand integrated marketing; and a portfolio of digital tools that provide results-driven campaigns,? as Marshall said.
The company has been strengthening its digital services side of the business over the last two years. It recently acquired the Hong Kong-based Asia operations of Red Bricks Media, a U.S.-based digital marketing agency, supplementing earlier acquisitions like OneXeno ? a digital marketing agency; and web and app build firm Interlink Systems. The new search capabilities add to the content, social media and web development strengths that are the anchors of Bite?s integrated digital service offering. The company specializes in integrated marketing and corporate communications campaigns that start with strategic insights, which are then rolled out across multiple markets with compelling, locally relevant content.
